Group Band
Step by step, but without doubt, TANGGA Band makes us aware of their existence. Here they tell us about their group band, their differences, their way of composing a song, and their latest album.
Tangga band, that name was uttered spontaneously when they wanted to give a name to their group. The reasons why they close it were it is easy to remember, it’s catchy, and it’s Indonesian. Besides, the word tangga has a good meaning ; it’s something that they can use to climb up (even though they also have to be careful since we can fall down from a tangga).
It started when Johandy Yahya, from Oxygen Management, asked Tata and Nerra whether they took their singing talents seriously. So they opened and audition, and there came Kamga and Desty (at the end of 2006, Desty left the group and was replaced by Chevrina).
Trying to be different from other bands that usually get together because of the similarities they have, Tangga Band wants to prove to us that the personnel can get together not because of the common ground they have, but more because of their diversities. Just check out their colors, place of origin, characters, and beliefs.
